Art For Animal Welfare (AFAW) showcases the art of Hazel Howie.
Hazel is a professional artist who specialises in Pet Portraits and Wildlife Art.
The purpose of this site is to raise much needed funds for animal welfare organisations.

50% of the proceeds (and in some cases, 100%) from all AFAW sales and commissions go to Hazel's favourite animal welfare organisations (see Links ).
In 2007 Hazel had a solo exhibition at Hobart's prestigues Strickland Gallery and was able to donate $1000 to the RSPCA and $500 to Animals Asia.

This website not only allows AFAW to reach people world wide, it also means there are no gallery fees. This in turn means the paintings can be realistically priced, allowing everyone the opportunity to own a unique piece of artwork. You can even Layby a Pet Portrait, Print or Original Painting. And as Hazel uses Genesis Heat Set Oil paints, and top quality canvases you can be sure your painting will stand the test of time. Not only do you get an oil painting you love, but you can feel happy in the knowledge that you're helping the fight against animal cruelty.
